![]() This is experimental and may not work as intended, or cause routing issues, please test thoroughly. Always nice when I can build a true blue Aussie home. i am just happen these two tutorials helped me realise the dream of building an authentic Queenslander with it’s tiered roofing and it’s stilt foundation. Something I should probably add to my to-do list as Im curious now. So hopefully this will be useful to some. These other build tutorials/threads (half-walls, stairs, fences, etc.) might give you an idea on how to make a new column, but I have never seen anyone do one so it might not be possible. Some columns may look odd because they get ‘buried’ in the ground so you may need to experiment with what looks best to you.Any terrain manipulation around the columns will move them. This is really only designed for a flat area.I have placed a saved lot using this technique from the library and the columns stay in place (with MOO on).Select the upper floor and then grab the foundation/height adjuster and lower to desired height. ![]() Delete ground floor and place columns in desired locations.Build your ground floor on the second level. You are basically turning the ground floor (referred to the first floor but some) into your ‘foundation’ and with the help of the terrain tools patch, being able to adjust the height of the columns. I was experimenting with roof tutorial and came across this little titbit so i thought I would share. I love pillar foundation, but up until recently, I couldn’t adjust the height.
